CEO Challenges: What is different and still the same?

When reading the article on Challenges CEOs Will Face this year.  I could not help but think how much is the same in business and how much has changed in the last few years.  Some of the changes are due to technology advances: social networks, hackers, and how the “internet” generations prefer to work. The responses they recommended to the new issues were interesting but not very instructive.  The remaining business issues are the same ones CEOs have been struggling with for years, these relate to the way they do business: government regulations, financing, staffing, and customer satisfaction.

This blog has been offering tips on many of those business and productivity challenges since inception.  You can find links to some of the posts related to a few numbers on the list below.
#1, #9, #14: Leadership
#2 & #7 Customers
#3, #10, #12, #18, #20: Employees
#11: Social
#13: Change

Many of these challenges will require leadership and staff focus, time management, and lots of meetings to determine what to do and how to do it.  Personally, I recommend facilitated meetings to keep the focus on topic and accomplish more in less time.
